Role: Brand Strategy, Design/Creative Direction, Product and Retail Strategy

I led a team to develop and position a footwear sub-brand and refine the shoe design for Brooks Sports. After this work, in the year of launch, the shoe captured 33% market share of the minimal running category. I subsequently served as interim design director in the footwear team, and advised on opening their retail store in their headquarters in Seattle.

I then led a team to extend the brand into apparel. I then worked to match Brooks’s product portfolio into sync with the brand strategy. And finally, I helped to create a new customer fit experience and shoe design philosophy called Stride Signature.
