Client: Levis
Role: Design Direction, Creative Leadership, Apparel Design
Levi’s had just undergone an organizational transformation run by one of the Big 3 management consultancies when I got a call from the head of design stating, “we are all sitting in different parts of the building, but not behaving or designing any differently.” This led to a year-long “salon series” to activate leaders in their design teams on topics of creative leadership, inspiration, human-centered design, and more.
One of the more intensive sessions was a week-long workshop to explore workwear and bring new inspiration and design process to a cross-functional apparel design and marketing team. This work spawned Levi’s reinvigorated Workwear line as well as the Commuter line of cycling-friendly denim apparel.
